She can't climb out of this one! Dec 20, 2007
By MS I have a little Yorkie puppy who is quite the athlete. She has been able to climb every ex-pen wall and every baby gate I own. I was at my wits end trying to contain her. This pen is great. The smooth plastic sides provide no foot hold, so the little squirt cannot climb out. Now, if she gets extra strong jumping muscles and some significant height on her, she may be able to jump out, but so far the height is great. I recommend this for toy breed dogs and smaller animals. A cat could definitely jump out.

Great Design, but a Bit Small Jan 26, 2008

We just got this for our new litter-box-trained toy-breed puppy... We really wanted to to avoid having an ugly wire contraption in our house for a few months, but this just isn't big enough to hold a bed, food and water, a small litter box, AND the dog! :( We are sad ~ it's really attractive, for a dog pen!

Playpen above average May 15, 2007
By Angela Thacker Service was great and the playpen looks really nice in our mountain home. My little dogs love it. It's built of sturdy plastic rather than the typical industrial looking wire and it fits right in with our other furnishings. It's easy to assemble and I like the way the gate opens. Sure there are cheaper pet playpens but many of them have the bar across the top of the gate forcing you to crawl into the pen to clean it. The Richell pet playpen is definitely top of the line.

Perfect for the task Jun 17, 2008
By Eric Lance Traub Way better than crating our dogs (dachsies) because it allows them the feeling of being part of everything (absolutely required with dachshunds) while being contained. It's actually helped us in training them to become socialized with the family faster. Great product. Assembled in two minutes. Totally satisfied.

Great Pet pen May 21, 2008
By Karen Laffere I bought this pet pen for my puppy because it didn't have any wires or pieces that he could hurt himself on. It turned out to be wonderful and I would highly recommend it. It is easy to assemble and dis-assemble (five pieces snap together) and is very sturdy.
My puppy loves it too. It is like a home to him and he feels very secure there. When we are home, the door to the pen is always open, but I often find him in it just playing or resting in his bed. There is room enough for a small bed, a puppy pad, toys and food bowls as well. I couldn't be more satisfied.
