The PetzLife Oral Gel works well to remove tartar from my dog's teeth. It has prevented me from having to have his teeth cleaned for years. Since it is reported that 10% of dogs have had adverse reactions to being "put under" while having their teeth professionally cleaned, it may also be a life saver. I started out just putting a bit of it on my finger and rubbing it on the dog's teeth. Within two weeks, my dog was allowing me to brush his teeth with it. The dog doesn't like the taste much, but tolerates it. A very good product.

I absolutely love this product! I purchased my first bottle from a fancy pet boutique for around $30 for my SPCA rescue--American Eskimo London. The owner said he actually used it on his own teeth. London's former owner greatly neglected his teeth to an extreme degree. His teeth were literally falling out and he had exposed roots everywhere. His breath quality was so bad it overshadowed his beauty and contaminated every room he entered. You could smell it from across a large open room. He had black, reddish brown, and in some places green build up. Most of his teeth were completely mobil. Whenever I bruched his teeth he would cry and wiggle. His teeth also bleed during each brushing--this wasn't working. The vet wanted $300 (cleaning), $90 (blood test), and an additional fee for each extraction--poor teacher's salary. At the time I had also rescued two other dogs and money was tight. I could tell he would have to have all of his bottom front teeth removed and several molars on each side of his mouth. I used the gel almost daily for a year and within a month the bad breath disappeared, the green stuff dissolved, and the black stuff vanished. As I became more dilligent, he began to eat his crunchy food and he began to play with chew toys. He was obviously in a great deal of pain from this neglect. He must have been in agony with so many loose teeth, and what smelled and looked like rotting. I cannot praise this stuff enough. He had a complete turn around. When I brush his teeth there is no bleeding at all and he doesn't fear the tooth brush anymore. He'll be on PetzLife Oral Care Gel for his entire life time to ensure continued good oral health. This stuff saved his teeth.

PetzLife Oral Care works great for removing tartar from my dogs' teeth! I'm so glad I found this product because my dogs' needed their teeth cleaned by the vet every single year! And I didn't want to put them through the danger of anesthesia nor pay so much $$ for it every year. I first tried the unflavored spray and though it works, my dogs hated it and would hide from me, but they love the Salmon flavored gel and beg for more!

I have 4 dogs. 2 are 13 years old with bad teeth and really bad breath. I haven't been able to keep up to putting it on everyday but the first day I put it on my older dogs with the bad breath by the next day their bad breath was gone. GONE!!! If it does nothing else for them I am sooooo pleased their breath isn't bad anymore. My dogs don't mind the taste. If you keep it in the fridge like it suggest just make sure it is room temp when you put it on their teeth. When it is cold they don't like it as much.

We have been using this product for about 3 years now, on both of our dogs. One
of them, a longcoat Chihuahua about 7 yrs. old. Around 31/2 yrs. ago, the Vet
reccommended gettong the plaque cleaned from his teeth, it was clearly visable.
This was a very expensive treatment. I did some online research and found this
product. I ordered some & at present, we mix it with some peanut butter in a
spoon 2 times a week and let them lick it up. No tarter/plaque problems now !
This stuff may, at first, sound expensive, but it works & is A LOT CHEAPER than
a cleaning by the Vet! I had my doubts at first, but it has prooven itself to be
well worth the money. Highly reccommend this product. Oh, I forgot to mention,
we never had the vet clean his teeth.
