 Nice, but not delicate Oct 03, 2010

Great for use indoors, like hotels and malls, but the wheels are very cheap plastic with no real wearability for sidewalks or crossing streets. I have a 15lb dog, which allows me to have about 10lbs of cargo in the basket under the main carriage space. It is lightweight and does fold like a baby stroller for trunk storage. My dog learned very quickly how to jump into and out of the easy opening back. It looks nice and was simple to put together, even though one of the round tubes got a bit bent in shipping (if that had not happened, then it would have taken 5 minutes to put together). The handle bar is comfortable.
If you just want to put your dog in and walk with purpose or excerice in mind, then you better make a sign saying so. Your dog in this buggie is going to get a lot of attention and you will be asked questions about the product and your reason for using it. My dog is very well behaved and is used to rock star status that this product only enhances. :)
Final note, I am glad I bought this for my trip to New Orleans, it helped move my dog safely while attending a convention of about 1500 people in the hotel. However, for at home use, where sidewalks are few, and sandy dirt drifts on the roads, it will not do so well. The product instructions note that this is not ment for beach use. I agree!

Nice Stroller - Front wheels poorly designed Jul 25, 2011

This is our second Pet Gear stroller. We bought this one as a replacement to a smaller version.
We like the size of this stroller and it fits our two cats with ease. This stroller is also significantly lighter than the smaller stroller it replaced which is a plus.
The problem is the front wheels. Pet Gear has gone to a double front wheel on this model stroller which our first thought was great, this ought to steer even easier the the stroller it replaced. Not so. These wheels are very grabby and will shudder periodically while pushing it down a sidwalk or steet.
I don't know if others have had the same experience with the front wheels, but hopefully Pet Gear is working on a redesigned front wheel that eliminates the grabbing. We are going to contact Pet Gear to see if there is a replacement wheel they will send us.
Had we not experinced this problem, I would have given the stroller 5 stars.

This pet stroller is sturdy and nice looking. I love that it folds easily. It easily holds all three of our small dogs who all together weigh under 12 lbs. The cup holder is a great feature, too. I also like the basket underneath that you can stole a small purse or Puppy gear, such as water, treats, doggy potty bags, and etc. The way it zips around the pets for security, but allows them to see out is great, too. The color is nice, not a silly pink or blue! Love it!

Pet Gear Happy Trails Stroller for Cats and Dogs up to 30-pounds, Sahara
Love this stroller for my 2 Pixie bob cats. Nice and cozy high quality fabric. Nice ride on sidewalks and streets. Fun for them to sleep in and hang out when it's in the house. the kitties fit well in it too. They feel cozy and safe compared to another stroller that I bought for them that was too big. This is perfect!

This is a great stroller and at a very good price and it arrived in a very short time. I bought it for my 6.50 pounds chihuahua and she loves it. The back wheels were a little challenging to install, but I got them on. The stroller is very spacious for my little chihuahua. I was afraid I would have trouble open and closing it, since when I had my babies I did not use a stroller, so I was not familiar with the way it works, but I find it very easy to open & close. It looks strong enough to last for a long time. We are very happy with it.
