My cat LOVES this thing!! I am on my second package of replacement cardboard, she doesn't play with the ball anymore, but loves the cardboard!! I sprinkle a bit of catnip on it, and she can't walk by it without scratching, chewing and rolling on it!!

Came fast. Wasn't even out of the box and I had interested parties. If they never used it again after the first day on the floor it would have been worth the money they had so much fun. I have one who likes to sit on the scratcher, one who plays at very odd hours, (startled me the first time he did this) and knock others off it, and one who likes to watch then maybe play. Fun toy!

This is the best cat tool ever. My 3 cats fight to get on the circle and scratch and they push each other off to use it as a sleeping pad. I had to order 2 more so that each cat has its own. Your cat will probably love it as much as mine do especially when you put the cat nip in the center of each opening. When we went to the animal shelter to get our cat, we noticed she liked playing with the turbo scratcher they had there so we bought one so she would have something familiar to play with as she got used to her new home. She loves scratching the cardboard and playing with the ball - when we spin the ball around its track she can hear it from anywhere and comes streaking over to play with it. She also loves lying on it and lounging around it with her arms in the groove, it's her comfort toy that she always goes back to. One thing though, she's often so enthusiastic about getting the ball that she sometimes pops it out of its track and we often have to hunt it down to pop it back into the circular track. I've ordered the Bergan StarChaser Replacement Ball, Colors Vary in case we do lose the original plain white one, hopefully the lightup one will be easier to find when it pops out and rolls off.

My cats are almost 1 yr old. They would play with this toy for 5min each time, and probably 2-3 times a day. To me, they seem to get bored pretty quickly. They like chasing balls I throw to them....
And maybe they are used to their old scratch pad, they don't scratch on this toy at all! Even if I put catnip in the middle, they only lick, but not scratch.
