 Sucks if you plan to take this on and off for passengers.... Mar 31, 2010

I returned this product as it is very hard to take on and off for passengers.
I was looking for something easy to remove so when I have dates, I could unclip the seat protector and have a nice, leather passenger seat for them. This is not the case...the clip which holds the cover from falling off goes underneath the front of the chair to the very back. With electric adjustable seats in my Infiniti, there is no way to shove my hand under the car seat (all of the electrical coponents of the seat are underneath the chair) to clip the clip into the hole in the back.
Otherwise, this product would be good for non-electric adjustable seats and if you are planning to keep the car seat on permanently. The quality of the seat cover is thick and appeared to be very durable.

Great price, fits well. Have not washed them yet. When I put them on the seats it took some doing because the elastic is short in length and narrow in width (cheap) and the piece you hook it to, that you put between the seat and seat back from underneath the seat with the elastic, is also cheap. The worst piece is the even cheaper plastic hook which barely opens to attach it to the piece between the seat and seat back to secure it in place. Hopefully they will protect my front seats from an active Aussie.

They are extremely durable, thick and well made. I installed these seat covers in the front seats of my van. The bottom material around the front is well made. I had to add a little more length to the elastic piece under the seat cover that is inserted between the top and bottom of the seat. I used a bungee cord.
The advantages:
The crack of the seat stays dry. This seat cover is one solid piece across the whole seat.
The seat cover is easy to wipe clean or place in the washer.
My high shedding dog can ride in her own seat without getting hair all over the original seat.
Because it is universal, it fits all kinds of seats.
It was really easy to install and take off the seat.
The disadvantages:
It has a plastic piece with the piece of elastic that is to be inserted through the seat. That feels a little bumpy to people if this is not installed correctly.
It was a little large for my minivan, but I can sew a seam in it to tighten that.
If your dog is riding the car on this, make sure he/she is secured with BOTH a harness and seat belt. Kids on this seat definitely need a seat belt, too.

My car seat was showing a lot of wear and I wanted something cheap to cover it. Since I plan on getting a new car within a year, it wasn't worth the investment to fix or get new seats. The tan color is a close match and looks decent. For the price, this is a good deal.

Pleased with the quality, fit, and appearance of this product. Use it in my car that has black leather seats, and it blends in very nicely. Easy to remove and clean.
