Not good for short(ish) haired rabbits Oct 23, 2010

I bought this brush in an act of desperation when the temperature hit 108 and my bunny was shedding like crazy all over everything. I figured that brushing him regularly would cut down on the problem. Then my scheme ran into a number of brush-related roadblocks.
First and foremost, the teeth on the this brush are unnecessarily long and stiff. I was hoping with a name like "Tender Touch" this brush would treat my bunny reasonable gently. However, my Rabbit has reasonably short fur (although it seems longer during shedding times). The length of the bristles meant that, instead of stroking his hair, I ended up scrapping his skin with the brush. Needless to say, but rabbit was reluctant to sit still for such treatment.
Furthermore, even when the brushing did succeed at removing fur, less than half of that fur stayed caught in the brush. From the perspective of someone trying to cut down on shedding, this was the opposite of helpful.
