i give this product a 1 star. The reason is: used this both on my cat and dog. both got very sick when this product was used on them. will never use it again. Find it peculiar that there are on ingrediants listed on the package. please use caution.

good product and excellent price. can't find it anywhere, but here. none of the big name pet supplies stores have this product. it keeps my dog's coat smelling fresh and clean. word to the wise, use sparingly. people have complained about the powder making a mess, but that's because they've used too much. i shake a small amount into the palm of my hand and sprinkle it over my dog's paws, body, head, etc. brush out powder with vigorous strokes, and it works just fine. I'll keep using it. the product was received in a couple of days, and I have no complaints. it's good for light dirt and debris, but not for heaving soiling and grease. On a day-to-day basis, it's excellent for freshening up your pet's coat.

I have used a dry powder shampoo on a large cat 20 years ago, but haven't have the need to use any in quite some time. I have an older frail cat now that I did not want to subject to the stress of a bath. This powder did collect quite a bit of the oils from his coat and gave him a much better appearance. This powder needs to be used SPARINGLY. I read another review that mentioned this and was very careful when pouring it out of the bottle, but the holes in the lid are so big that way too much powder poured out. I would suggest pouring out just a bit on a piece of paper to get the feel of it. Not a substitute for a real bath, but a good alternative.
