 Works great for my elderly cat Jan 03, 2008

I have a 15 year old cat who is getting less than accurate in his litter box finding ability (he's also blind). Rather than curse him several times a day for peeing on my 100 year old pine floors, I decided to try these diapers. It takes some experimenting to get the fit right, but they work just fine once you do. They will usually hold at least 2 pee incidents before they need to be changed.
Given that the #1 one reason cats are taken to the shelter is litter box abandonment, this is a way to keep an older companion and yourself both happy.

I bought these because my puppy was not learning housebreaking easily. I figured I could at least save odors and stains on my carpet until she caught on. They do work great as far as holding urine. But they do not keep in stool do to the opening at the base of the tail needed to put the tail through the outside of the diaper. This is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, but there isn't mush you can do since you need an opening for the dog's tail. You can reuse them , if not soiled of course, thanks to the reusable cling tabs. I can't say they are speeding up housebreaking, but they do save my floors from urine in the meantime.

There's just nothing quite like these little diapers to keep an incontinent senior lady kitty from soiling rugs or floor. And we find the "x-Small" fit better than the larger "Small" ones do.

Time is precious to me; consequently, I save it by shopping on line, predominantly with Amazon. Shopping for diapers for my Yorkie for her first heat intimidated me: so many products- so much inconsistency in product description- so many size charts! I chose the Simple Solution dog diaper because product description was good and the size chart made sense. I subscribe to Amazon Prime shipping, which brought the dog diapers quickly. This product is of excellent quality and has high absorbency. It also fit my little Yorkie. Perfect delivery of a quality product with good fit means I'll continue saving time by shopping on line.

I bought a medium for my dog, a wire fox terrier. I have the same complaint as another user-they don't fit from her waist to tail-the tail hole is in the wrong place for her-they definitely look like low risers. Aside from the fact that my dog won't move when she has them on -they come off as soon as he sits down so they are useless.
